Derek is an Associate Advisor who works with young athletes, emerging professionals, and their families as they navigate early financial decisions, career transitions, and new opportunities. His focus is on bringing clarity and structure to what can often feel like a fast-moving and uncertain time, helping clients make thoughtful decisions and build a strong foundation for the future.

A graduate of Dartmouth College, where he played quarterback for the football team, Derek developed a disciplined approach to preparation, leadership, and teamwork that continues to shape the way he serves clients today. He is committed to building lasting relationships and helping clients navigate important financial decisions with confidence.

Currently pursuing his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification, Derek combines thoughtful analysis with a practical, personalized approach to financial planning. Whether working with families, guiding the next generation of professionals, or helping athletes navigate new opportunities, he is passionate about making financial planning approachable and empowering clients to move forward with clarity.

Outside the office, Derek enjoys exploring Chicago, golfing, spending time with friends, and cheering on the Chicago Bears during football season.
